The January 2016 is out, and these are some of my favorite hairstyles in this issue. Wavy lived-in, short with texture, slicked with a wet look, and classic side part.

I love this before & after!! He cracks me up every time he's in my chair. 😂

This lovely gentleman visiting from Denver was looking to get his haircut fixed. (Top left is his "before" photo). We blended sides in a little nicer, and shaped the top up while adding fun texture still keeping his fullness and length. Before blowdrying the top, I added my new favorite product for unruly hair: . He was very happy when I showed him a variety of ways he can style the top. Curly, straight, forward, back, messy, or polished... he can have it all!

Alright fellas... As your hairstylist, it is my duty to help you feel confident. I want your mane to make you feel like the King of the Jungle!!!! Aside from great hair, there is something else that "roars" confidence. And that, my friends... is a good handshake. If you have a weak handshake, work on it. A handshake is a big part of a first impression, so make it a good one.

I've been wanting to start a blog about my career. I meet a lot of characters out here as a men's hairstylist in Las Vegas. Between the tourists and locals, every day is something new! I love journaling, So I decided to use this page to share crazy work-stories, life lessons, and just anything about my Cuts by Cat career.

So, first story... /moment of gratitude.

I picked up an old pair of clippers I haven't used in a long time. My red WAHL Designers. Once I turned them on it was such a comfortable, familiar, nostalgic feeling. Those clippers did A LOT of haircuts in my life. It made me appreciate all of my clients that I've ever used them on. Thank you guys for your loyalty. YOU GUYS ROCK. 😊

Today is officially my last day of work. 😢 I will NOT be cutting after today, because we will be packing & spending time with our families & friends before we move. I have 2:00, 2:30, 3:30, and 5:30 open.

Good Morning! Only 3 more days to get a "farewell" cut! Here are the openings I have left today:
