When your young or just starting out and you think about starting something as a side hustle you never expect to consider the overhead cost and the fact that overhead is precisely what causes majority of small businesses to fail, close, and shut down.

Not lack of talent, not lack of hard work or love for their craft but just no opportunity to reinvest because of over priced suites that cost as much as monthly apartment rent.

Nobody ever wants to talk about the back end cost of business and how other small businesses are more worried about meeting their bottom line more that about give young entrepreneurs an opportunity to grow.

Renting from private landlords when I first started and when I was trying to build left me in a deficit no matter how much I worked.

Let’s calculate $75 for a booth rent 4 days a week u do the math for the month & drop the price in the comments

Or $100 a day 4 days a week even worse!

We all know that prices for things are insane rn but if your more worried about your bottom line than helping the next talented artist make it ( which is really where your blessings come from) then you should not have a salon suite business.

If you ( a beautician) don’t have a consistent space to do your service you can’t grow your clientele. If you don’t have a 2 bedroom apt or can’t work from home then a suite is a need not a want.

Salon Owners & Aspiring Salon Owners Instead of pricing these women out offering affordable rates will bring you more renters, more referrals, more positive reviews, & put more money in both you and your renters pockets.

Right now nothing makes sense so if your prices are making sense best believe we as renters are going to sing your praises to everyone we know.
