Located along an established North Asheville corridor near downtown and UNC Asheville, our Merrimon Square salon enjoys a steady flow of loyal customers—including families, seniors and longtime regulars. Every Wednesday from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., seniors can enjoy a $13.99 haircut!

The salon has been serving the community since 2005, but you wouldn’t know it from the inside! It recently received a complete glow-up and now feels bright, fresh and brand new. 💚✂

Merrimon Square is led by Salon Manager Michelle, who has been part of the Asheville Great Clips family for 12 years! Michelle makes recognition special by decorating her team members’ stations for birthdays, work anniversaries and other accomplishments. We’re excited to introduce you to Whitney, one of the talented stylists at our Main St. Simpsonville salon!

Whitney has been part of our team for 7 months, but she brings more than 20 years of Great Clips experience to the chair! 🙌 She is incredibly talented, goal-oriented, and always willing to jump in and help her team with whatever needs to be done.

Whitney consistently receives wonderful feedback from her customers, and it’s easy to see why—she’s a true rockstar behind the chair! ⭐️

When she’s not at the salon, Whitney loves spending time taking care of her fur babies. 🐾 And here’s a fun fact you might not guess… she’s a grandma! ❤️

When she’s not behind the chair, Dani enjoys coaching cheerleading, helping at her church, and spending time with friends and family.

Last week, our SC Salon Managers traded their salon chairs for go-karts! 🏎️💨🤩

We enjoyed a fun day together filled with a yummy brunch 🍳, a little learning and connection, and some seriously competitive team building on the track! 😝🏁 Let’s just say… some of us lasted longer than others! 😂

We’re so thankful for time outside of the salon to connect, learn from one another, encourage each other, and have a LOT of fun along the way. 💚
