I went into the salon to deep clean and get ready for this new year. I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I have been in my space. It is so perfectly “me” in so many ways. And I am grateful for each of you who have supported me in the last year. The word for my business this next year is growth! I need and want to grow my clientele. But also, I want to grow my wedding business. Not only do I have 20 yrs of experience, I also have 7 yrs of artist/educator experience where I was trained and mentored by the best of the best in the industry. So if you or someone you know is getting married this next year, I would love to be a part of their look for their big day. Or if you are looking for a new stylist that loves to yap, hates the patriarchy, and can customize the best cut/color for you no matter your age, I am your girl.

I would be lying if I said I’m not worried about an incoming recession. Luxury services are the first thing that people cut and hair is often considered a luxury. And while a lot of people won’t completely give it up, people will go a little longer between appts or choose to quit coloring their hair or start doing a more low maintenance color. What that looks like for me is having more time available on my books that I haven’t had in awhile. With that said, if you or someone you know are looking for a new stylist, I would love to help! I’m currently not accepting new clients on Sundays or evenings. I look forward to seeing some new faces in my chair. ❤️

20 years! Also half of my life I have spent pouring my all into my career. It’s so interesting that the first half of my career I spent telling myself “Think BIGGER!” And the last 10 years I’ve been telling myself, “Scale back. Change happens on a personal level.” I’ve never regretted walking away from educating. I’ve never regretted walking away from bigger salon environments. But I do regret not realizing sooner that being my own boss is the best fit for me and my clients. Thank you to everyone who has stuck around, followed me and supported me! I appreciate it more than you know! I still love what I do (minus this shoulder injury/issue) 20 years later and that is quite impressive. 💖
