Update 9/7/21: Please be as safe as we can be with the increase in Covid cases in our area. I am very grateful for the phone calls from concerned clients who have potentially been exposed.
Do’s Deluxe is currently and continually following masking protocols and safety guidelines recommended by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology, Douglas County Health and the CDC.

So, Douglas County has reactivated mask wearing indoors. This is real, people. Vaccinated or not, masks are the logical step to protect each other. Safety and mutual respect.

Well, I’m feeling informed enough to feel that, with many concessions, I am cautiously re-entering the workforce. By advanced appointments only and following strict protocols to assure health and safety for each person at the salon. I’m ready to trust my clients to use their best judgment and have the patience to reinvent how the shop will have to operate.
PLEASE don’t come to your appointment if you have any symptoms of illness.
ALWAYS wear a mask.
ALWAYS use hand sanitizer upon entry and as you exit the salon.

Light at the end of the tunnel?

Hello, friends!
I seem to hear rumblings of a well-tempered return to work. Cautiously intrepid.
Slightly ahead of the county health departments, the Kansas Board of Cosmetology has sent out strict guidelines to salons and licensed cosmetologists. when we are given the OK to reopen, we must put forth a diligent effort to maintain a clinical level of sanitation, as well as measures to consider the health and safety of stylists and clientele.
These measures include requiring that each individual wears a mask upon entering the salon, continuing to wear the mask until leaving.
There are more guidelines that I will address as we get closer to an opening date.

The Douglas County Health Officer has issued a 'Stay at Home” order for Douglas County, Kansas, which will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24. The order is effective until April 23.

I’m sorry to say, Do’s Deluxe will not reopen until we are all safe to congregate again. Be safe, patient, and healthy!
