May is Melanoma Awareness Month, and if you’re still hitting a tanning bed before prom or just to “stay bronze,” this is your sign to stop.

“I’m young, I’ll be fine” is not a plan. Melanoma is one of the most common cancers in women under 30. The tanning bed you’re using before 35 increases your melanoma risk by 75%. That’s not a scare tactic. That’s just the stat.
