Tenasi Soap

Look at the huge bacterial colony in the gallon jug of apple scrap vinegar I made !!! I need to figure out what to do next. Eventually, I will perform a titration to determine the acidity percentage. I’m really looking forward to that.

My first time making apple scrap vinegar. They all have formed a mother on the top. 😃
It’s so Interesting to see the different colors depending on the apple variety used. I don’t know a thing about vinegar qualities, but I sure do love the red one on the right. The color is so beautiful. I need to do a taste test to see which one I prefer flavor wise.

Chigger remover! For those little red ankle biting demons.

Elderberry Syrup is simmering on the stove 😁. It smells like jelly making in the house right now. Only with a deeper, warmer, richer scent. It invokes a distant memory, somewhere long ago, locked in the treasure chest of sweet emotions and it warms my soul !

This is one of my best selling soaps. The scent is a dupe of the 90’s Cool Water cologne.

Oh my word 😬 😩, I’ve made Pâté soap. 🥴 First bacon, now Pâté. Maybe I need to step away from the soap and go wildcraft some plants and make medicine. Or, go fix myself some lunch. 🤔 Well it’s scented with Indian Sandalwood (which I Love) and not some fruit or floral scent, at least there’s that. Scott loves it when I have a design fail, it means he gets it all. Or relatives may receive gag gift soap in their Christmas packages. 🤣

This is a test batch for a new fragrance and colorant. Red is such a difficult color to achieve in soap and this Trial by Fire from Nurture Soap is supposed to deliver a vibrant true red, we shall see. I’ll cut this soap tomorrow to see how well it does after saponification. The scent is a dupe of Bath and Bodyworks Forever Red, from Aztec Candle and Soap Making Supplies. It smells wonderful. Fingers crossed 🤞
