On this day five years ago, I took the biggest leap of faith I’ve ever done. During the pandemic I started my research. During a time when the entire world was just coming around to learning how to navigate post pandemic, I opened my doors.

These past five years owning a beauty supply store have taught me a lot. I’ve learned how to manage inventory, people, and problems. I’ve overcome lots of obstacles, and have met some amazing humans along the way. Most important, I’ve grown so much as a person. I’ve gained self confidence in a way that only a business owner can. I’ve learned that attempting to please everyone is not only realistic, it’s exhausting. Now I do the best I can knowing I’ve done so.

Here’s to five years of hard work, dedication, and so much sacrifice!
