🧡 While many of us may think that oil is the best moisturizer, it really is not. Oil acts as a sealant to help your hair lock in the moisture you have put inside of it.
🤎Moisturizing your natural hair helps to seal in moisture into your hair strands, so your natural hair stays hydrated and flourishing. Types of Moisturizers can be: Leave-In Conditioners, Aloe Vera, Rose Water, etc.
💛Moisture comes from primarily from WATER!!! Water is a very important element for your hair. Your natural hair needs water, the way you need the popcorn to sit through a movie. You should spritz water over your hair daily, paying special attention to the ends! Water is a basic moisturizing agent for the hair and should bot be overlooked.
🧡Make sure that the FIRST ingredient of any moisturizer you purchase is Water!
🤎Ever heard the term “you are what you eat” ? Well, what you intake in your body does have a huge effect on your hair. Drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water each day helps to keep your natural hair moisturized and you hydrated too!
