Just a heads up, if this does happen I will most likely have no way to get to my studio on the east side from Elgin, as Trail Road has been closed for many months due to construction and I have no idea what the gravel detour looks like with all of the flooding. As your waxer we see you once a month when we perform your service and do our best to get you smooth and hairless, us being able to do so strongly depends on your aftercare routine.
As the professional we do our best to recommend products or add on services we feel will benefit you the most. However, the work to keep your skin smooth, irritation, and ingrown free happens outside the studio. This process isn’t one size fits all so sometimes we have to tweak your products to get the best fit 🫶🏻
Waxing is an investment and the best thing you can do to ensure smooth, irritation free skin is follow up with proper aftercare, which includes exfoliation 🧽 and moisturizing 💦

With my April promo in full swing, here’s some Easter eggs for my newbies when it comes to prepping for your first Brazilian wax, or for anyone needing a reminder 🐣
- be sure to exfoliate 48 hrs before your appt! Waxing is also a form of exfoliation, so avoid exfoliating too close to your appointment in order to avoid potential skin lifting or added irritation 🫧
- caffeine can constrict blood vessels causing added discomfort during your wax, so skip that morning cup of ☕️
- tight, restrictive clothing can rub against your freshly waxed skin and cause irritation so be sure to wear something comfy and loose fitting 🧖🏻‍♀️
- a minimum of 2 weeks of growth or 1/4 inch (the length of a grain of rice) is ideal for hair removal. So once you book that appointment, put the 🪒 down ☺️

Last but not least, Brazilians are not as scary as they sound. While a bit of discomfort is involved, it is a quick and well worth it service 💕
