For those of you who don’t know me or the story behind my business, I want to share a piece of my heart.

A lot of people see where I am today, but they didn’t see the nights I cried, the stress I carried, or the uncertainty I faced. They didn’t see the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the self-doubt, or the moments when I wondered if I was going to make it.

I didn’t wake up one day and become successful.

I worked for this.

I prayed for this.

I cried for this.

I sacrificed for this.

For as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of becoming a lash artist. I was inspired by one of my old lash techs, and watching her grow in the beauty industry showed me what was possible. Deep down, I always knew it was something I wanted to do.

But what truly pushed me to start was necessity.

At the time, I had no job. No one was hiring. I was a young mother with a one-year-old child, wondering how I was going to pay rent, keep the lights on, and provide for my baby. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life.

I remember feeling scared.

I remember feeling overwhelmed.

But I also remember deciding that I wasn’t going to give up.

I didn’t have everything I needed. I didn’t have a huge budget. I didn’t have all the supplies or a fancy setup. What I did have was faith, determination, and a dream bigger than my circumstances.

So I took a chance on myself.

That same month, I was able to pay my rent, turn my utilities back on, and provide for my child through my business. What started as survival slowly turned into purpose.

Now, four years later, I can proudly say that I am licensed, certified, and blessed with an amazing clientele that has supported me every step of the way.

There were times I wanted to quit.

There were times I doubted myself.

There were times I wondered if all the hard work would ever pay off.

But God kept opening doors, and I kept walking through them.

Today, Paradeyes Dream Esthetics is growing into something I once only dreamed about.

I am preparing to launch my own lash supply brand for local lash artists and beauty professionals. And in 2027, I will begin offering certification courses to help train and mentor future lash artists who are chasing the same dream I once had.

That little girl who was worried about paying rent and taking care of her baby could have never imagined this life.

This business is more than lashes.

It’s proof that hard work pays off.

It’s proof that faith can carry you through impossible situations.

It’s proof that your current circumstances do not determine your future.

Most importantly, it’s proof that when you bet on yourself and refuse to quit, amazing things can happen.
