A little reintroduction for anyone new here…
Hi, I’m Marina — owner of Native Roots Salon, a hairstylist of 20+ years, and still absolutely in love with what I do. Hair has never just been a job to me… it’s art, connection, and transformation. And yes, after all these years, I’m still a killer stylist behind the chair.
I’m also the creator of my own brand of hair extensions, something I’ve poured my heart, education, and experience into to give my guests the best hair possible.
Outside the salon, my greatest joys are my family. I’m a proud grandma to two boys with another sweet little boy on the way, a Frenchie mom, and a loving, loyal, God-fearing wife. Those roles mean everything to me.
I have to say… this chapter of life has been beautiful. My 40-pluses have been phenomenal. I’ve grown calmer, more patient, more grounded, and more grateful than ever before.
Life has taught me a lot — about resilience, about grace, and about becoming stronger than the things meant to break you. And I truly feel like I’m loving the latter part of my life more than I ever imagined I could.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, sat in my chair, trusted my vision, and grown with me over the years. Native Roots Salon isn’t just a business… it’s part of my story. 🤍
