The Start of a New Customer Service.

It was the start of summer in 2014 with big hopes and dreams. We started this nail salon because we knew that there was a chance to start something different in the nail industry. Why does getting your nails done have to seem like a hassle or something you shouldn’t enjoy? Every nail salon you visit seems the same, you walk in, they ask what kind of nails you would like done and then they tell you to have a seat while you wait. You end up waiting over 20 minutes and nobody really checks up on you, the most you receive is a glance in your direction that’s supposed to translate as “Don’t worry, we know you’re still there we’re almost done and you’ll be next”.

35 minutes have passed and it’s finally your turn to get “pampered”. You take a seat and they ask you to pick a color while they work on your nails. It doesn’t take too long for them to get what you requested and you’re out before you know it. You drive home and think to yourself, “hey that wasn’t so bad, the wait was a little long but they did a good job and were quick about it.” Then you begin to question if the work they did was actually quicker than normal. You discover that at some point on the way home your nails are cracked or chipped not even an hour after your visit. Guess the fastest service isn’t always the best is it?

Well, no worries, most nail salons will repair your nails for little to no cost. You visit the salon again to show them the problem and they agree to fix the mistake free of charge, of course, not without a couple eye rolls and sighs along the way. You leave feeling like somehow it was your fault that all this started and that you took away their time. Eventually, you will want to get your nails done again whether it’s for a party or a wedding; maybe you would just simply like to treat yourself once in a while. Odds are you could try a different salon in hopes that they will be different, or maybe the last one wasn’t that bad and they might do a better job next time, right?

We believe that a nail salon shouldn’t just be treated as a business model to customers but as a legitimate, well-constructed service. When you first walk into our store you’re always greeted by one of our friendly receptionists and be asked how we could help you. We know wait times can become a huge obstacle for people, not only because waiting around isn’t typically the “ideal” way for people to spend their weekends, but because we understand that you have your own plans that you’d like to attend. We don’t want to take away any more time than necessary. That’s why we have every single one of our gels, dips, and shellacs numbered and beautifully displayed for you to easily choose from. We won’t rush you, but our fully staffed team will always be ready to help get what you need for both walk-ins and appointments.
