As hairstylists, we wear a lot of hats. We are therapists, emotional safe spaces, inspirations, and cheerleaders. But at the end of the day, we are still human beings trying to balance our own heavy responsibilities. It is not always easy. Honestly, there are days we fight like crazy just to show up for ourselves, yet we still show up completely for our clients.

This post is for the stylist who is exhausted and emotionally drained. The one balancing parenthood, adulthood, and every other chaotic "hood" life throws at us. To the one who still puts on a smile and pours into everyone else while running on empty: this is your reminder to breathe. Take a break. Take as much time as you need to pour back into yourself. The grind will be waiting when you get back.
