Syria- Accusation: Tulsi Gabbard is an Assad sympathizer. Response: Gabbard cleared her trip to meet Assad through House Ethics, met with U.S. officials post-trip for a debriefing, modeled her whole entire trip off of Nancy Pelosi’s, and has publicly criticized Assad as a “brutal dictator” and plainly said yes, that he used chemical weapons. Foreign Policy Views: Accusation:Tulsi Gabbard is an isolationist or sympathetic to dictators. Response: Gabbard argues for evidence-based military action, opposes endless wars, and her views align with an America First approach, not isolationism or sympathy for dictators. The woman has a couple combat deployments for crying out loud. Russia: Accusation: Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset. Response: Gabbard has advocated for military assistance to Ukraine, supported sanctions against Russia, and publicly criticized Putin’s actions in Ukraine and labeled him an adversary.
