My "why" has always been a passion and deep need to help others, with my utmost compassion for, and accommodation of, their needs and fears, and helping them achieve their goals without judgment, and in a safe environment. My passions eventually led me to working as a labor and delivery nurse, where I remained for over many years. However, leading up to 2023, my passion and energies had become systematically drained. Due to many factors, I began suffering from extreme stress and burnout, which exacerbated over time. I was frustrated, angry, and depressed. Upper-management/corporate control, the lack of autonomy, long hours, and a toxic work environment led to lack of sleep, anxiety, and depression; and eventually PTSD. I had lost my zest for my "why" – my intentional purpose that led me to pursue medical healthcare to begin with; that innate passion and desire to help others, with the utmost compassion for, and accommodation of, my clients needs and fears; and helping my clients and patients achieve their goals without judgment, and in a safe environment. My Epiphany: I needed my personal and professional life back.
‣ I needed to feed my passion for helping others and helping them achieve their goals/desires/needs, in a kind, supportive, friendly environment with honesty and transparency.
‣ I craved happiness and satisfaction in my career of helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
‣ I needed to be my own boss so I could be as gentle, conservative, and honest as I needed to be, so I could help clients attain their goals of appearance and wellness; advising and guiding them in a supportive, laid-back, no-pressure environment. Taking a Leap of Faith
So, in 2023 I made a leap of faith and opened Revive & Retreat Med Spa in Lebanon, TN. I help my patients with weight loss, anti-aging, skincare improvements, and energy/health/wellness treatments. I provide services to my patients in a laid-back, non-judgmental, easy-going environment. Revive & Retreat Med Spa is not a cold, clinical, austere, or “factory-type” aesthetic setting. Instead, at Revive & Retreat Med Spa, I will always take the time to listen to you, provide professional feedback and advice for what is best for you and your goals, understand and work with your hesitancy (pain threshold, “I still want to look like me,” “I don’t want to look overdone,” etc.). I now feel a deep sense of serenity, happiness, and peace – for not just me, but for my patients – knowing I have created a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming environment for my clients and patients who simply want to achieve their goals - whether it be weight loss, anti-aging/looking younger, or health and wellness, and I am able to meet them on THEIR terms. First, at the beginning of each day, I feel honored to have this opportunity to work with my amazing clients and patients who place their faith and trust in me, so that I can do all that I can to help them achieve their goals - ON THEIR TERMS.
