Before renovation & during

Hey all, Laurie here!!

We are officially in our new home at 1151 Cornwall Road! It has been quite a month but I think it’s safe to say we’re excited about our new space! There is still some things to be done and decorations to be added but I’m excited to share our current pictures with you all!

I’m going to apologize ahead of time for the lengthy post, but there are lots of people I need to give props to for their hard work and help with this project!

This was not something that was planned, rather something that sort of “had” to happen due to unforeseen circumstances. Sometimes the things you don’t see coming turn out to be the best blessings! With that said, our timeline was CRAZY! One month from settlement day to moving day with a pretty decent sized renovation. Let me tell you…. It took a village!

Thank you to PA’s Best Mechanical. Pete and his crew were timely, professional and were on top of all of the things that needed to happen in order to get things up to par. I would highly recommend them for plumbing and HVAC needs. Thank you fellas!!!

Next, a huge thank you to Cutting Edge Paint. Joe did phenomenal work. He worked extra hard to get ALL (there was A LOT) of the wallpaper off and then took the time to repair and paint the walls. The walls looked brand new until he was finished. His attention to detail and care for his work was incredible! Thank you Joe!

Thank you to JBT electric. Jeff has handled electrical needs at my home & previous salon. He is dependable and great to work with. He worked extra late hours just to ensure we met our timeline. Thank you Jeff!

Home improvement outlet handled the flooring in the main areas and the bathrooms as well as the trim. They were extremely helpful and always do a wonderful job with their installations. Thank you Home improvement!

Thank you to my husband who helped me demo cabinets, rip out carpet, fill an entire dumpster and then move a whole salon in one day. You were a huge help…. We only almost got divorced like 3 times???😁

Thank you to my girls…. Mandy, Alycia & Hilary. Your encouragement was immeasurable. Thank you for talking me off the ledge and knowing that everything was going to be great! I appreciate you ladies more than you know!

Lastly, thank you to all of my friends and family for being so supportive and always asking what you could do to help. That alone is help. Just knowing that there are wonderful people in your corner.

I can’t say enough about this village around me. I love that we now have a permanent place to grow our village. Thank you to all of the clients that continue to support us. You are what makes all of the hard work worth it. We as a company appreciate you all. We hope you love our new space and can feel the love that’s in it!

Lastly I just want to say that all of these local businesses that have helped to get us to the finish line are amazing. Support local when you can…. They are made of hard working people doing what they love and helping others along the way!
