We’ve all heard about "fast fashion," but have you ever looked at the raw numbers behind the fabric? I recently came across this comparison between Cotton and H**p, and I decided to dig into the data to see if it holds up.

The results? The difference is even crazier than the graphic suggests.

Here is the breakdown of the "Cotton vs. H**p" showdown, fact-checked and tested:

1. The Chemical Warfare ☠️

Image Claim: Cotton uses 26% of the world's pesticides.

The Reality: Cotton is often called the "dirtiest crop" in the world. While exact percentages fluctuate (some sources say ~16% of insecticides), it is undeniably chemical-heavy.

The H**p Advantage: H**p is naturally pest-resistant. It grows like a w**d (literally). While "no chemical pesticides" is the ideal scenario, the reality is that h**p requires significantly less intervention. It outcompetes w**ds naturally, meaning fewer herbicides and a cleaner planet.

The Reality: H**p is a high-yield biomass champion. Because it grows tall and dense, you get much more usable fiber from the same patch of land compared to the spreading, delicate cotton bush. This means we can clothe more people using less land, leaving more room for forests and food.
