being a hairstylist AND a lifelong dolly lover… you already know this quote has always had a special place in my heart 🥹✂️💗

dolly once said, “i think the most important thing a woman can have — next to talent, of course — is her hairdresser.”

and i mean… who am i to argue with dolly? 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

but all jokes aside, i think she understood something really special about women. sometimes getting your hair done isn’t about changing how you look — it’s about getting a little piece of yourself back.

i’ve watched women look in the mirror and light back up. i’ve seen the “oh my gosh, i needed this” moment more times than i can count. i’ve had conversations in my chair that started with hair and ended with us talking about life, love, babies, careers, family, and everything in between.

THAT is why i love what i do. 🤍

and if there was ever a woman who understood the power of feeling good, being unapologetically feminine, and having hair that enters the room before you do… it was dolly. 😂👑

big dreams. big heart. big hair. and yes… BIG WIGS. because miss dolly knew sometimes the higher the hair, the closer to heaven. 😂✨
