Sorry… but some hair advice online just doesn’t hit the mark.

Healthy hair is less about random hacks and more about:

• consistency
• realistic expectations
• good products
• proper maintenance

There’s so much misinformation online, and honestly? It confuses y’all more than it helps.

Which myth surprised you the most?

If you’re in the KC metro and want advice that actually works for your hair, comment DM me and I’ll send you my booking link!

If your hair checks even one of these boxes, it’s probably time. ✂️

Trims don’t make hair shorter — they keep it healthier, fuller, and easier to manage.

If you’re in the KC area, let’s take care of it before breakage does 🤍

From unwanted warmth and solid blonde to natural,
Lived in pops of brightness ✨

I took my bb here from this first look done while I was gone, to the second by doing my ‘highs and lows’ service which consists of me pulling through your natural base, (or chosen color during consult) as well as adding in lightness for more dimension.

Now she’s ready for baby here in a few weeks and can feel confident if she’s not able to come back for several weeks!

If this feels like something you’ve been needing, book your spot in the link in my bio 🤍

Some of the most important appointments are the ones that keep your hair healthy, and expensive-looking in between the “big” transformations.

Maintenance appointments help protect the integrity of your hair, keep your color seamless, prevent breakage, and make sure your grow out stays soft and blended

These are especially important if maintaining length is a big goal of yours! The longer you wait for a cut, the more you have to cut 🤍

You might get your Blonding session done once or twice a year, but to keep it in tip top shape I always recommend to book my “healthy maintenance service” every 8-12 weeks or so. It includes everything you need to stay in shape. Cut, gloss, and treatment 💕

These maintenance appointments are quick and affordable in between your longer, more expensive appointments you do less often.

Feel like you need a perk up but it’s not time for a big session yet? DM ME!

WOW! Serious color correction today! Let’s break down our obstacles, what we did, and talk about what her road to recovery looks like:

HOW SHE CAME:

- very warm base, what she’d asked for didn’t align with how her hair looked, so her base had likely been shifted with permanent color, too high of a developer, or the wrong type of Demi exposing unwanted warmth.

- TONS of breakage around her hairline, and all through the top of her head, almost forming a mushroom like appearance to her haircut, making her super disconnected and thick on top.

GOALS:

-Soft dimensional foilayage
-Adjust base back to a cool tone mimicking her natural shade
-Adjust haircut to look intentional vs broken.

WHAT WE DID!

- More Intentional haircut, leaving what I could

- In situations like this I like to go in with a base color before I do anything. It’s much less mess, and allows me to ensure everything is thoroughly covered, especially if I’m busting brass 👊 the Demi I used is conditioning and it doesn’t cause any more damage to do this step first. It even helps neutralize some of the lift which is what we were going for anyway. Win, win.

- Once she’d processed, I washed her out and applied K18 mask, followed by k18 spray before her foilayage session. As always, I use both k18 and Olaplex when using lightener, because I’m a psycho. 😇

- After babysitting her, and never leaving her side (as I never do when lightener is on the head, especially not in this situation with so much damage) we shampooed and followed up with a color melt + another k18 mask.

We are far from done but what a huge step for her first session! This sugar has a long road ahead of her, we have a lot of healing to do- and if she listens to home care she will heal within a few short months with multiple baby trims and lots of love! I can’t wait to come back and show you her progress in a few months
