It was time…
My daughter Amelia struggles with hair growth and hair health. As a college athlete and a natural blonde it takes a beating. Typically blonde hair has less strength than darker hair bc melanin = keratin and keratin = strength. That’s not always the case but it is here. It was time to cut some length off to where here hair had a fighting chance to grow.
But in the meantime I thinks she’s rocking this new length!
If you’re needing a hair re-haul as well, head to my bio to learn how to book your first appointment!

A little bit of strategically placed foilyage highlights.
A lot of dimension added back in.
Gloss every 2 months.
Full color twice a year-ish.
Simple but intentional
Hair consultations with family makes you a little more chill and weird😜 apparently.
When you take 50 pics but the video of me brushing her hair is the truest of them all.

Here’s a thought… how about we work with the grey instead of against it?
Instead of thinking of it as the end of your youth, think of it as a crown of glory. 👑
You can still look beautiful, vibrant and youthful and still have a few greys showing. Yes I’m a hair colorist and still saying that!
If you want help in doing this come see me! Books are open and always aim to be ☺️

2016 was a very pivotal year for me! This is the year that I moved from my doing a couple clients a week in my home to a real salon!
I had also been working for my families beauty school for a bit and I was literally making one clerical mistake after another and realized I was not working in my strengths whatsoever! 🙈
It became very clear to me that my passion was still out there on the salon floor. YouTube and Instagram became a huge source of inspiration!
The girls were 9 and 6 and with both of them in school full time, I was SO excited to start my new business. And learned everything there was to learn at the time! I was OBSESSED quite frankly and couldn’t get enough of all things hair and hair color. My family will tell you I’m still pretty obsessed with watching hair videos all day and traveling to learn from whoever is inspiring me at the time! As long as I’m still behind the chair, that will not change!
And 10 years later the rest is history! So grateful how far I’ve come since that time. 🙏🏻
What changed for you in 2016?

Stylists- do you love or hate color corrections??
Great consultations are the key to happy clients!🗝️
Stylists - what key questions do you ask in a consultation so you know that you and the guest are on the same page?
Funny thing about me is…if you come in thinking you might want to cut your hair off and go darker or more dimensional I’m almost always going to encourage it! Lowlights and root touch up all Demi-permanent from Diacolor
Are you struggling getting volume in your blowouts?
Use a vent brush before using the round brush to pic the hair off the scalp and blow dry those roots! My VERY favorite is this Olivia Garden styler.
