She h forged the incredible strength to tuck away even the fiercest emotions behind the demeanor of a steel warrior.
Her strength, built from walking through the fires of life, isn’t obvious at first glance..
No, it’s made up of the quiet courage and bravery that many would probably miss about her.
But her people- the ones that love her- appreciate that about her so very much.
That’s not to say she doesn’t burst into tears in the shower or face down into a pillow sometimes, but she recomposes herself just as quickly, wiping away the tears and pulling herself back together.
She’s a beautiful creature in her quiet virtue, able to maintain her composure when the world is crashing down around her.
She feels the same emotions you and I do, yet, somehow, she’s able to harness her self control and measure her responses very calmly..
She may overthink situations, she may be falling apart inside or at the verge of tears, but she decides when or if to open the floodgates of emotion to release her heart.
Not just anyone is privy to such displays of her true feelings, for she always protects her depths and chooses her companions carefully.
She’s careful with her heart and her love, for she’s been burned before and vowed to be selective when letting her walls down.
Truth be told, there’s nothing in this world as extraordinary as a strong woman..
She fights battles few ever know and chooses which mountains to climb and which to simply walk around.
So, if she’s without words, know that a myriad of emotions may be swirling inside her heart and mind.. and you don’t have to fully comprehend her to appreciate her ability to choose her words and actions carefully when she must.
You may not be able to fully understand who she is or how she manages a smile through hardship, but one thing is for certain:
You’re witnessing one of the most beautiful people you’ll ever meet as you look upon her..
Appreciate her, cherish her, and most of all, just love her for the extraordinary person that she is..
