Lily has the dreamiest eyes and now the smoothest honey balayage. She’s been an all over bleach and tone and everything in between but this session we took her more natural so she can have a seamless grow out with less upkeep.

As most of my existing clients know I’ve been part time with my career since Kapri was born. It is one of the beautiful things about what I do, I can adjust my schedule for the season of life that I’m in. It can be a sacrifice financially, to not take all the clients I want but it has been the biggest privilege to watch her grow and be by her side. I’m grateful my husband has always supported me being part time with our kids while they’re little. He has never blinked an eye at my desire to be present with them. I wouldn’t trade it for all the money in the world. Being a mom has always been and will always be my biggest priority. It’s what I’m most proud of. Now, with all the said, my girl turned 5 last week and will be starting Kindergarten in August. My schedule is significantly opening up and I’ll have the availability to take on new clients. Typically, the longer you’re in my chair the longer you get to go between appointments. So a 3-4 hour specialty color appt can buy you up to 5-6 months of amazing hair! We refreshed this client at her bi-annual appointment and we keep it soft and natural so even when I see her this summer there won’t be any harsh lines of demarcation🙌🏽

Gray blending has been a popular request lately. Instead of touching up your “sparkle” roots with your natural color every 6 weeks we mimic the incoming gray with baby fine hilites. This client is a natural level 5. This will allow her to go 10-12 weeks without noticing a “skunk” line of any kind. We keep it trendy with a money piece but most women naturally gray more around the hairline anyhow.
