Beth has been a certified beauty professional volunteer with the Look Good...Feel Better (LGFB) organization for women with cancer since 2002 and is proud to have won the Look Good...Feel Better Sunrise Award in 2008 based on her outstanding service, contribution and dedication. The Look Good…Feel Better Sunrise Award for outstanding service is presented to volunteers who have displayed exceptional dedication and outstanding volunteer leadership to the Look Good…Feel Better program.
Look Good...Feel Better’s free workshops are organized by caring, volunteer beauty professionals who teach women with cancer to manage the effect on their appearance through side effects of cancer treatment. This includes instruction to address changes in skin, hair loss and nails, as well as tips on wardrobe/styling to cope with weight gain or loss, and surgical changes. This gives women who are struggling with the effects, to feel beautiful again with the help of LGFB volunteers.
