When he said he had been searching for a lip balm for an HOUR… I knew Àṣẹ had to enter the chat 😂💋

He tried our Àṣẹ Lip Balm, loved how it felt, and then wanted to know the story behind it. That’s my favorite part, because Àṣẹ wasn’t created overnight. It took 27 formulas to get it just right.

Sometimes your customer has been looking for exactly what you created. They just haven’t found you yet. 🤎 It’s the best lipbalm you’ve never tried 🙈

Day 2 of Invest Fest✅ The men showed up for their skincare at Invest Fest! 👏🏾🤎

From longtime customers coming back to restock, to new customers discovering My L’ewa Skin for the first time, I loved seeing so many men intentionally choosing products for their skin.

And apparently, good skincare has no gender. 😊

To my My L’ewa Skin men, I see you. I thank you for trusting me with your skin and continuing to come back for more.

P.S. Apparently Simisola came to Invest Fest with three job titles: salesperson, photographer and videographer. 😂 Give my girl her credit! 🤎

Day 1 of the Invest Fest Marketplace and somebody may be coming for my job and it’s not AI😂

My daughter was selling up a storm today! She knew the products, the ingredients, the benefits, and how to talk to customers. And people absolutely loved her.

I brought her to Invest Fest because I wanted her to see entrepreneurship. I didn’t expect her to jump right in and become a little entrepreneur herself. 😂

And I honestly can’t imagine her future without her owning something of her own.

One of my favorite moments today was watching her meet the Invesco team. She was SO excited because she already owns $106 worth of QQQ. Suddenly, something she sees in her investment account became real and tangible.

This is what I wanted her to experience.

Not just hearing Mom talk about business and investing, but being in the room. Selling. Learning. Meeting people. Seeing what’s possible.

First lesson in entrepreneurship: SHOW UP. 🤎

Thank you, Invest Fest, Rashad Bilal Troy Millings Ian Dunlap and the whole invest fest team for creating a space where our children can see entrepreneurship and wealth-building up close.

And apparently… I may have found my newest My L’ewa Skin salesperson. 😂 Stop by booth 453 and say hello to Simisola.

It’s officially InvestFest morning.

The boys are off to camp.
Mom and daughter are getting ready for InvestFest.
And I’m still wrapping bottles of my All Over Body Oil.

The glamorous side of entrepreneurship, right? 🤎

See you at Booth 453.

No audition. No gatekeepers. Just entrepreneurs betting on themselves. ✨

That’s one of the biggest reasons I love InvestFest.

Every year, I’m reminded that whether you’re just launching your first business or scaling to seven figures, there’s room for all of us to learn, grow, and build together.

I’ll be spending the next few days getting every bottle ready by hand, and I can’t wait to see you.

📍 Booth 453

And like I always say…
Don’t pack your skincare. Just show up. I’ll take care of the skincare. 🤎

I accidentally started a skincare brand. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I wasn’t chasing entrepreneurship.

I wasn’t trying to build a skincare brand.

I was simply a mom looking for something that would help my son’s eczema-prone skin.

One product turned into another…
Body Balm. Lip Balm. Facial Scrub. African Black Soap. Body Oil.

Somewhere along the way, My L’ewa Skin was born.

Now you’ll find me smiling behind a table EATLOCO FARMERS MARKETS talking about ingredients I never imagined I’d know so much about.

Funny how life works.

Sometimes your purpose finds you before you’re looking for it. ❤️

What’s one thing you never planned to do, but now you can’t imagine your life without it?

🤯 Change your bath sponge just ONCE a YEAR? Yep.

If you’re still using a loofah, it’s time to upgrade.

Unlike traditional loofahs that stay damp, trap odors, and can harbor bacteria, an African Net Sponge is designed to dry quickly, exfoliate gently, and last much longer.

✨ Here’s how to use it:
✔️ Wet the sponge.
✔️ Rub your favorite soap directly onto it (I love using my Turmeric African Black Soap 💛).
✔️ Wash your body—and yes, it’s long enough to reach your back with ease.
✔️ Rinse it thoroughly and hang it to dry.

That’s it!

How often should you replace it?
🖤 Once a year if it’s just for you.
🖤 Every 6 months if you share it with someone else.

Simple. Hygienic. Effective.

Once you switch to an African Net Sponge, you’ll wonder why you ever settled for a loofah.

Have you made the switch yet? Tell me below! 👇
