Jesus watched a widow give two small coins and said she gave more than anyone else (Mark 12:41-44). He didn't measure the amount — He measured the faithfulness.

Your body isn't what it was at 30. That's not a failure. Comparing your current strength to a season that's passed isn't stewardship — it's a losing game. Show up with what you have today. That's enough. 💪🏽

Exhausted after a full night's sleep? Foggy even when you're doing everything "right"? Your body isn't broken — it's asking you to clear out what no longer serves it.

Just like Jesus cleared the temple in Mark 11, sometimes healing means subtraction, not addition.

Swipe to see if you recognize these 5 signs — and what to do about them.

5 Reasons You're Under-Hydrated After 40

You can drink water all day and still be under-hydrated — because hydration in this season isn't just about intake, it's about how your body uses what you give it. 💧

Swipe through for 5 hidden reasons you might be under-hydrated (even if you think you're doing everything right), and what actually helps.

This is stewardship, not a wellness trend. Your body is asking for partnership, not perfection.

✨ Tonight at 7:00 PM ✨

Join us for Abide & Flow as we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and explore Chapter 8.

In this chapter, Jesus asks one of the most important questions in all of Scripture:

*"Who do you say I am?"* (Mark 8:29)

It's a question that still challenges us today.

As we study together, we'll explore what it means to see Jesus clearly, trust Him more deeply, and follow Him faithfully in our everyday lives.

Whether you've been with us from the beginning or this would be your first time joining, you are welcome.

Following Jesus isn't about perfection.

It's about surrender.

Every day, we are invited to lay down our own plans, expectations, and self-reliance and follow Him more closely.

What might God be asking you to surrender in this season?

06/08/2026

In Mark 8, Jesus asks His disciples a powerful question:

"Who do you say I am?"

Peter answers correctly: "You are the Messiah."

Yet even after recognizing who Jesus is, Peter still struggles to understand what it means to truly follow Him.

I think many of us can relate.

We know Jesus.
We love Jesus.
We trust Jesus.

But sometimes we still try to hold tightly to our own plans, expectations, and timelines.

The beautiful invitation of Mark 8 is this:

The clearer we see Jesus, the clearer we see our purpose.

When our eyes are fixed on Him, we stop chasing perfection and start pursuing faithfulness.

We stop striving to control everything and start trusting the One who already knows the way.

As you move through this week, ask yourself:

✨ Where might God be inviting me to see things differently?
✨ What am I holding onto that He is asking me to surrender?
✨ How would my choices change if I followed Him more closely?

Strong Body.
Strong Faith.
Strong Purpose.

If you’ve been feeling more tired, inflamed, discouraged, or frustrated lately…

you are not alone.

Many women over 40 are trying to force their bodies through methods that no longer support their hormones, recovery, or energy.

The answer usually isn’t:
❌ more restrictions
❌ more cardio
❌ more guilt

It’s smarter training.
Better recovery.
Nourishment.
Consistency.
Grace.

Save this post for later and share it with a friend who’s been feeling exhausted lately.

So many women are carrying success, responsibility, leadership, caregiving, and pressure…

while quietly running on empty.

Mark 8 reminds us that achievement means very little if we lose ourselves in the process.

That includes our health.
That includes our peace.
That includes our spiritual well-being.

Energized living isn’t about hustle.
It’s about alignment.

This week, ask yourself:
What needs to be nourished in this season — physically, mentally, or spiritually?

Join us Thursday at 7 PM for Abide & Flow Bible Study as we study Mark together.

For many women over 40, the hardest part isn’t a lack of motivation.

It’s trying to use strategies that no longer support the season they’re in.

More restrictions.
More punishment.
More exhaustion.

Sis… your body may not need harder.

It may need wiser.

At Temple Training, we believe strength training should support your hormones, energy, recovery, and purpose — not leave you burned out.

This season is an invitation to move differently, recover intentionally, and steward your health with grace.

You are not behind.
You are adapting.

“Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”
— Mark 7:15

Jesus continually redirected people away from outward performance and toward heart transformation.

So many women carry shame around:
• their bodies
• food
• aging
• weight gain
• inconsistency

But true transformation begins internally.

This season is not about punishing yourself into becoming someone else.

It’s about learning how to steward your body with wisdom, grace, and consistency.

In this week's Abide & Flow Bible Study, we’re walking through Mark 7 and learning how God cares deeply about the condition of our hearts — not just our outward appearances.
