She came in dehydrated... 6 months post trim, wash-n-gos being bunned and puffed until she could get back in. We know that cycle. Mixed porosity with higher porosity concentrated at the front perimeter where the hair is coarsest.

Blowout → precision cut (health first, shape second — got both) → dampened the hair so product could actually absorb → applied and set in plaits to keep the hair stretched throughout the process.

This IS the reverse styling method — but here’s how I do it for a little more longevity. With this much hair on this texture, your wash-n-go has to last more than a day. The plaits while the product sets gives you the stretch, the definition AND the hold over time.
