The Lake County Convenience Centers are open on set days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for household garbage and debris drop-offs. Please note that County staff cannot assist with unloading. All fees are waived indefinitely to assist with debris removal efforts. For a list of facilities and the days they are open, visit https://c.lakecountyfl.gov/storm/.

Here's what to expect during your visit:
👉Upon arrival, residents will check in with an attendant or scale house staff and present ID to verify Lake County residency.
👉Residents will then be directed to the designated area(s) for unloading your materials.
👉Yard waste must not be in plastic bags. Only paper lawn bags or clearly marked biodegradable bags are accepted.
👉After unloading, residents can exit the facility or check out at the scale house.
👉Space for unloading may be limited, so wait times could be longer, especially if you have materials to unload by hand.
