This was my first time using recommended by I have to say how pleased I was with this color line so far. The formula was super smooth, almost with an oily and creamy consistency which made it super nice to apply, and a little went a long way. It was a perfect color match and zero guessing! Update #2!!! Haircation
I am excited to announce that I have finally started “back to school” for me!! Some of you know I have been dying to start a different avenue in the hair industry, while still maintaining my clients now. I have always been interested in heading more towards the hair extensions side of the industry. COVID had finally allowed me the opportunity or time so I thought to sign up for this month long course. Although I had not planned that homeschooling would also be in my outlook, I’m going to push on through this alongside my kids. Not gonna lie, it can be a little hectic at times, but my instructor who has 7 kids says “anything in small bites is do-able. “ I’m going to take her advice and take things on one at a time. Or does she mean tackle a million things one bite out of a million other bites at a time?? 🤣🤪 That part I haven’t yet figured out yet, but hang in there with me. I will continue to work in my clients, while homeschooling and plan time to schedule in my haircation courses in the evening . It might take me a little longer to get back to everyone, but thank god you guys are so understanding and patient with me.. under all circumstances 😁😘 ⭐️⭐️I will update everyone in a few days on what’s next after Hair Savvy. I WILL be working locally at a new Salon — I cannot announce where just yet, but I will update everyone as soon as possible. In the meantime, I appreciate all of you, and feel hopeful to the promising changes ahead. You will not be disappointed!

My anxiety, and nerves have been through the roof 🙆🏻‍♀️ and many sleepless nights over writing this post, so while Im keeping it quick and to the point, my heart is heavy.
Monday October 19th, will be my last day at Hair Savvy. While I’m sad to close more than just another chapter, I am so excited for this new chapter to begin. I have made lifelong friendships at Hair Savvy including all the tenants in Market station, you guys have been my family. You have been there for me during tough times, and you have been there through the good. I am so grateful for everything you have taught me, and allowing me to share my life with yours. The life lessons I will take with me, and keep you close to my heart on my next journey. I don’t really have the words to say in this moment so I’ll just share these. 😊

Now more then ever, the term “Happy Mother’s Day” has such a great meaning and understanding behind the phrase (and thankfulness to our mothers is bigger than it has ever been). We have changed our daily lives to become school teachers to our children (for whom I have the upmost respect for) you are amazing!! To put food on the table has a whole new meaning, while also trying to work our own daily business schedules... Everyone has had to make huge personal sacrifices under this “new normal”, yet I want to remind and encourage everyone that this negative “new normal” will give ultimately way to another positive “new normal” in due time.
Throughout all of this, I want to say from the bottom of my heart how thankful I am to each and every one of my friends and clients for your overwhelming support, love, and generosity. Without all of you, I would not have been able to make it through; however, because of you, we did well above what I could have ever imagined. Your pictures of your hair “after kit selfies “ have brought us so much joy and warms my heart. My daughter Ryenn, my new apprentice has helped me put these kits together, my son Dylan helps load them into my car, and little Kyle loved making, as she calls it, “Glamazon Deliveries “ 😁 You have taught my kids that hard work pays off, and acts of kindness through love, and selflessness will be far more rewarding than letting our fears take over our will to be better. So from the bottom of our hearts thank you. 💝 ❤️

Updates!! Hey guys, I’m sorry it has been a while since I have posted; however, I wanted to settle any questions or concerns regarding appointments, standing appointments and so on (in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak).

This outbreak has already impacted us all on so many different fronts. While public health is an extraordinarily high priority, small businesses are now in the unfortunate position of becoming completely non-viable in a matter of weeks. The overall negative sales impact is one of monumental proportions, and a recession is looming if not already here. While I understand the subject is sensitive, we are already fighting another financial “pandemic” that is beginning to ripple (or tidal-wave!) through the overall economy due to forced closures and forced reductions in customers. This is reality at the small business level…and it is a daily fight.

In trying to turn this negative into a positive, I have started “boxing” my first personalized “at home” hair emergency kits. I know some of my clients want to stay inside, and that is awesome…but those greys are poppin!!

So send me a message and I will put together your personal formula kit, and I will bring my mobile services to you! The color kits are $150. I will supply all materials, and take care of your hair care needs in the safety of your own home.

I am also taking appointments at the salon, and plan to utilize common sense sanitation practices with all my clients.

I love and appreciate all of you so much. Thank you for caring, and being so thoughtful during this uncertain time.

I've been getting a lot of messages for this look, and what were the products I used? My space is very limited already for Halloween so if you are going out and were in need of your makeup done or hair styled please feel free to send me a message. If I am unavailable I have some very good referrals. In both looks I used gel black liner around the eyes. for the white areas. And to set the makeup for the white areas I used translucent and for the black areas I set with activated charcoal.. With a damp . If you have a black eyeshadow that will work as well to set over your cream shadow, paint, or gel liner. I used the activated charcoal because it had the best pigment. My black shadows had a little shimmer which I did not want, where as the charcoal is matte. For my eyes I had and my sister left her eyes natural

Hey guys! I hope everyone is enjoying their final days of summer. I wanted to let everyone know that I am away on vacation for two weeks, and will return the week of August 29th. I will be back to my normal schedule Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. I also wanted to say thank you for all of your messages, "get well soon wishes", and concerns for my well being. I am sorry it has taken so long to update everyone, but now I am on vacation. With my feet in the sand, and a drink in my hand! :-)

I have been doing better, and taking it easy this summer. The doctors are still unsure of what the cause is, and still think Celiac's Disease, or an auto immune diease of some sort. Even though one test is positive for celiacs and another negative does not mean I don't have Celiac's . It's all very confusing to me... and for them as well, it seems. BUT- what I do know, and have learned through ALL of this ....

(Education Disclaimer) is that 70-80% of our food in the United States is processed. The food has been genetically engineered and grown using genetically modified ingrediants. These added genes in our crops can preserve food shelf life, help make crops more resistant to herbasides viruses and pest, and endure through the seasons that the crops are not conventionally able to do. More than 16 other countries have banned this process, but the US has been consuming this type food for more than 15 years now. They say with no effect, but food disease rates have skyrocketed. So for me now, a natural more organic diet, gluten free everything, shopping with our local farmers for meats, and veggies is what I need to do, and get a little thing called WILL POWER ;-)

Now, with all that said and done, I am putting it behind me! I can't wait to get back to a normal work schedule and get all the kids back in school! Thank you for being patient with me this summer, and sending me all of your well thoughts and prayers. God has been overwhelmingly good to me, and placing you all in my life has been such a blessing. Being a stylist is not just a job for me. If I can make someones day a little better as you have made mine, then my heart is full. My gratitude cannot be described. I hope everyone has an awesome rest of the summer, and I will see you in two weeks!
