I’ve gone back and forth on making this post for a while because I wasn’t really sure how to put everything into words.

Last year was very hard on me. I lost both of my grandmothers, and if you’ve ever lost someone who helped raise you, love you, and shape who you are, then you know there’s a kind of heartbreak that changes you. Due to that I spiraled and struggled with my mental health more than I ever have. On top of that, I was trying to navigate being figuring out who I am, what I want out of life, and how to keep moving forward in a world that feels a little chaotic sometimes.

So I stepped back. Not because I stopped loving what I do. Not because I didn’t care about this business. Not because I forgot about my clients.

One thing that never left me was my love for beauty, skincare, makeup, and making people feel beautiful and confident. Even when I wasn’t posting, I was still dreaming about it. I just needed time to heal, grow, and remember why I started all of this in the first place.

The past year has taught me a lot. It taught me that life doesn’t always go according to plan. It taught me that healing isn’t linear. And it taught me that sometimes the strongest thing you can do is give yourself permission to pause. But not sit in it.

But I’m back!
I’m working a full-time job afternoon/ evenings these days, so my availability is morning times most days, but I’m ready to start pouring back into something that has always made me happy. I’ll be working out of my home in Anacoco and would love to start seeing clients again.

I’m planning to focus more on the beauty side of things, especially makeup spray tans, and waxing, because those are the services that truly make my heart happy. But don’t worry I’m always here to give advice about all these skincare! There’s something so special about helping someone feel confident in their own skin, whether it’s for a wedding, a special event, vacation, or just because.

And for those who may not know, I still do photography too on the side, Capturing memories and special moments will always have a special place in my heart, and I’d love to work with you there as well.

To everyone who stuck around while I was quiet, thank you. Thank you for your patience, your support, and your grace. I know I haven’t shown up the way I wanted to, but I’m trying.

This isn’t some huge business relaunch or a perfect comeback story. It’s just me a girl who got a little lost, took some time to heal, and is finally finding her way back to the things she loves.🤍

I am no longer working at Jennifer Smith’s Cosmetics. As of right now, I have not relocated to a new space yet, so I won’t be taking any clients for the time being.

I truly appreciate all of the love and support from my amazing clients and everyone who has trusted me with their skin. I will keep everyone updated once I get settled into a new location and start taking appointments again. Thank you all for understanding and supporting me during this transition! ✨
