They are so soft and pink and beautiful! This client came to me with brown spots and an undefined lip line. We were able to neutralize the spots completely, and give her a beautiful, defined lip shape.

Lip Blush does fade up to 70% from when they are freshly done, so it's good to know that dark is not a bad thing. If this client decides in the future that she wants a darker color, we can add a bit more. For now, she is happy with the fresh, natural results!

Lip blush is one of those things I never knew I wanted, but have fallen in love with. Seriously. It really makes you feel effortlessly beautiful, even on your least beautiful days.

It isn't meant to look like fresh, dark lipstick, but just a warm blush of color that keeps you looking healthy and you lip shape crisp.

Lots of color boosts this week.

Many people confuse these with touch ups. Let me clarify. A touch up is 6-8 weeks after initial treatment, and is meant to perfect the work that was recently done. Often it's just about adding more pigment for full saturation.

A color boost, by contrast, is after a year or more, when the brows begin to fade or get ashy. They need a freshening up. Often, this requires more work than the initial treatment since the color needs to be warmed up and faded lines repaired. Because of the work involved, the price is more than a touch up.

Either way, the results are well worth it! Look how fresh and beautiful these ladies look!

My goal with permanent makeup is to make people feel beautiful. I really want to give them confidence when they look at themselves in the mirror.

Part of this comes from mastering the skill and knowing how to map a face properly. But another part is listening to the client and adjusting according to their preferences. After all, it is they who will look at their own face and scrutinize it the most. I want the face that looks back at them you be one they are happy to see.

This is why not all of the brows I do look alike. We don't all look alike, so why should our brows?
