In April, the scale said 330 lbs. I’m 33, dad of two little girls, and I realized I was on track to be the dad who just watches instead of plays… or worse, the dad who isn’t around at all. I’ve tried every diet and fitness trend out there—keto, paleo, cleanses, 1,000-calorie days, workout challenges. I’d lose some, plateau, and gain back more. This time, I’m doing it differently. I’m building small, sustainable changes that actually fit my life as a busy dad on a budget—walking, food swaps, stress hacks, better sleep, no-BS tricks. And so far, I’m 50 lbs down.
