WHAT'S NEW FOR SUMMER 2021?
Finally the masks are off here in North Carolina and everyone is looking to change their hairstyle for the fun summer ahead! If you want a big change or just something simple, I have some ideas for you.

Here are a few ideas that are stylish, trendy, and easy-care. So, the trendiest haircuts of 2021, what are they? I’m seeing more natural looks with shaggy layers and easy going style for the active woman.

Some of my clients will prefer a classic cut with a fresh twist. I’ve been seeing shorter hair in the back, even if it’s just 2 inches. Going a little shorter can make you look younger and more trendy.

Color is leaning more towards the ashy end of the color spectrum and less of the warm tones. A few of my clients have embraced the funky color trend but don’t want a head of purple and green hair, so we compromised with a few highlights in pale summer colors like the new Rose Gold from Paul Mitchell.

Here are some of the trends according to the major stylists –

blunt chops without layers, – medium neck-length bobs, – shorter pixies, – one-length haircuts, – modern shags, – textured haircuts, – bangs (short, long, curtain, side-swept).

As for the coloring trends, I prefer mixing highlights , soft babylights, natural colored streaks in the hair, two-tone duos, as well as classic brunettes with ashy or caramel highlights.

Call me or the salon to schedule and appointment so we can give you a fresh look for the summer of 2021!

My friend Heather came by for a cut and some fresh highlight for a summer look. Highlights were then toned to a "buttercream" color. The look: Fabulous and Summer
