I’m going to have to start being a stickler about clients bringing company with them to their appointments. I implemented this policy so that I can better serve clients with no interruption, and completely focus on my clients hair needs while being serviced.
For some reason… There’s always those certain ones that feel that they are superior or can bypass a policy made. NO… You Can’t 🚫…. When a policy is implemented, it’s usually for good reason. I created a space to give my clients ONE-ON-ONE Service intentionally.
I don’t feel like having a conversation or entertaining your guest, when getting your hair done is your time to relax, vent, or just enjoy the moment. This is not a free look and learn course, small gathering at my salon, hangout session, to comfort an insecure bf/gf, NONE OF THAT 🚫.
This is the very reason why I service teenagers (that can be dropped off) and up. Because I don’t want to look at your parent/guardian breathing down my neck, asking questions, critiquing my work, conversing, staring me down, or anything that can distract me when my undevided attention should be on you.

If you’d like a guest at your appointment, the fee would be equal to your hair service (OR) that guest can NOT come…

✅ My first appointment will always start at 12pm, and my last appointment will be booked no later than 7pm. Any appointment requests before or after these stated hours of operation will occur an additional fee.
✅ I work Monday - Friday… Unless I open a weekend day because a holiday or company/school occasions are coming up. Any weekend request (if available) will occur an additional fee.
✅ Do NOT text me. Pick up the phone and call me directly (📲 619 245 8247). I receive on average 40 - 50 messages daily, and an inquiry or conversation can be expedited via phone call a lot quicker than a lengthy text conversation.

Now I wouldn’t be speaking in my truth, if I hyped this video up to be more than what it was…
This was my very first Hair Showcase… Before I say anything… I want to start by saying that I’m grateful for EVERY opportunity that God blesses me with, and I try my best to show up & show out.

So I was semi-hyped about this because I was nervous about representing myself and my brand the right way. I chose “Rennaissance Theme”, and worked for weeks with my videographer, choreographer, and make up artist to put it together. Mind you, this was all being done working 7 days weekly (12 - 15 hours per day).
The actual day of the show, exhaustion tried it’s hardest to take over me… but nevertheless my team and I traveled a total of 4 hours to follow through with the show. Now admittedly we were an 1.5 hours late, but were still able to perform and enjoy 2.5 hours of the show & network.
I walked away thinking we had done a good job based off of all the feedback we had received in the moment… BUT apparently NOT 😫… I was informed that we were a “Disaster” and didn’t follow any of the Rules & Regulations that were put into place. I took the constructive criticism, digested it… And went back to the drawing board to see where I had failed at, so that I can improve in the future if I decided to do it all again.
Moving forward… Here’s the final outcome of our BEAUTIFUL DISASTER 🔥🔥🔥
