A HUGE thank you to each and every one of you that came to our Grand Reopening and 4 year celebration! We have hardly any photos as we just really took the time to enjoy everyone’s presence, tell our story, and meet some new faces!🥹

We can’t even believe that last Sunday, September 27th marked 4 years of being in business!! Living our dream would not be possible without all of you and we are forever grateful. You all have shown so much overwhelming love and support during this change that gave us so much encouragement to keep going. Also, hearing that every one of you likes our new name so much more than Urban Beauty Studio has truly helped so much with this transition and made us so much more confident in our decision🤍 They thought they could take us down, but they quite literally did the opposite😉

Here’s to many more years and many more celebrations! We love you all so much and appreciate you more than you know. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!🫶🏻

We’re celebrating 4 years in business, our new name, and a fresh new chapter for the studio, and we’d love for you to come hang out with us!

A heartfelt announcement for our Urban Beauty Studio family. 🤍

After much thought and many conversations, we sadly have to share that Urban Beauty Studio will be changing its name to Fig + Poppy Beauty Studio.

This was not a decision we wanted to make. Urban Beauty Studio has been part of our story from the beginning. It represented years of hard work, late nights, big dreams, and the relationships we’ve built with every client who has walked through our doors. While this chapter is incredibly difficult, we’re choosing to move forward with hope.

Due to a trademark issue involving a name filed after we were already established, we were faced with having to make a change. After weighing our options, we chose to move forward with a new name rather than take on a lengthy and costly legal process. This was a financial decision as much as anything and one of the hardest we’ve had to make.

We’re sharing our experience because we honestly didn’t know this was something that could happen. Even after operating under our name, becoming an LLC, and building our brand, these situations can still arise. We hope our experience brings awareness to other small business owners.

Although this change was unexpected, Fig + Poppy holds a very special meaning for us. Fig represents our family’s last name and the roots of who we are. The poppy flower symbolizes remembrance, hope, beauty, and resilience as we honor the past and step into this new chapter.

While our name is changing, everything you know and love is staying the same. Our team, services, values, branding style, and commitment to our clients are not changing—only our name.

We ask for your patience and grace as we navigate this transition. We know it may feel confusing after you’ve always known us as Urban Beauty Studio, but we hope you’ll continue to walk with us into this next chapter.

Thank you for standing by us through one of the hardest seasons of our business. Your support and kindness mean more than words can say.

This isn’t the ending we imagined for Urban Beauty Studio, but we’re hopeful for what’s ahead as Fig + Poppy Beauty Studio.
