Raw and real post….

When I came back from maternity leave never in a million years did I ever think I would lose clients. I had some clients wait till I got back to get lashes, some went to the lash tech I referred them to and stayed, and some people went somewhere else and that’s ok!! I guess in my head I just thought my books were go to be full as soon as I got back.

For the past 10 months and going back to work 11 weeks PP I’ve beat myself up wondering what I did wrong, why I wasn’t good enough for my clients to stay (especially the ones I’ve had for years). But I just try to remember that some people maybe found going to another lash tech more convenient with their schedule, some just don’t get lashes anymore, and some don’t want to be around a baby when getting their lashes done, then on and so forth.

What I do know is I appreciate everyone that I’ve met and made feel beautiful within the 5 years I’ve been lashing, i appreciate the people who were and are patient with me and who came right back. I still miss the clients I haven’t seen in months who are more than welcome back if they decide.

My career is so important to me. Just as much as becoming a mama. While i navigate this season of life balancing becoming a mom and working I feel so blessed to have ones who stuck by me. Right now it isn’t just about being a kick ass lash artist, it’s about being a kick ass mama too and I wouldn’t want it any other way🩷

To my clients who stayed loyal thank you. I appreciate you. And to my past clients, thank you as well. I still appreciate the time we spent together, I still think about the mindless convos, therapy sessions, and giggles we’ve shared. You are always welcome back into my life.
