It’s with a heavy heart that I share my father’s passing on New Year’s Day.

My dad was incredibly talented at his craft and so full of life. He was deeply passionate about his career and the relationships he built with his guests, relationships he held so dear. Following in his footsteps wasn’t easy, knowing I had such big shoes to fill, but what a gift it was to spend 14 years working alongside him. I cherish the memories we made together, and the stories our guests have shared over the years since his retirement have truly warmed my heart. Please know that each and every one of you meant so much to him.

On behalf of James and our family, thank you for your support throughout the years.

Please have patience as I reschedule appointments this week and when I return to the salon. Thank you for your kindness and understanding.

We would like to update our guests on covid-19 restrictions as we have had a lot of questions in regards to the recent CDC recommendations.

*Masks are required*

We are still operating under PA State Board of Cosmetology covid-19 regulations and are required to operate within their guidelines, which are not always in line with CDC recommendations. Our regulations have NOT changed so we will continue to require masks for those who are vaccinated or unvaccinated until we are instructed otherwise.

We are sorry for any confusion this situation has created. We sincerely thank our clients who have been so helpful throughout this pandemic, it’s because of your consideration, encouragement and patience that we have been able to safely remain open this past year! ❤️

Hi everyone! We'll be reaching out to all of our guests to reschedule their previously scheduled appointments that were cancelled from March-May. We'll be contacting you to schedule. All rescheduled appointments will be made in the order they were missed. This process will take some time to coordinate. We know you've already waited anxiously for quite some time but we ask for your continued patience moving forward! 😊

A lot has happened in the time we've seen each other last. We have some dissapointing news to share. Unfortunately, James will not be available as we reopen. He's having surgery in the upcoming weeks so Brittany will be welcoming his guests as we reopen.

Once we have rescheduled all missed appointments we'll start scheduling all of our other guests who need an appointment. A lot of you have already reached out and we've added you to a list!

At this time we're unable to accept new clients and will no longer offer walk in appointments. All services will be appointment only. Thank you for your patience and support! ❤️

The James Martin Hair Salon will remain closed as per government guidelines under the "yellow phase" of businesses reopening. At this time we do not have a target date set to reopen and will not be rescheduling appointments. We miss our clients very much and hope you and your families are well. ♥️

We will remain closed until the end of April. Given the uncertainty of this unprecedented situation we will begin rescheduling appointments closer to that date. We miss all of you so much and are thinking of you all!

We will be extending hours and be open Monday-Saturday when we reopen to do our best to get all of our guests in for their rescheduled services as soon as possible. Thank you for your support. We're in this together, hang in there! ♥️

In compliance of Governor Wolf's suggestion to close all non-essential businesses for the next two weeks, the James Martin Hair Salon will be closed effective March 17th and plan to open again on March 30th(subject to change in accordance to further government instruction).

We apologize to our guests for this inconvenience and we will be contacting you to reschedule your appointments to a later date.

We're truly grateful for the love and support extended to us during this time of uncertainty. Although we are temporarily separated, we are keeping our guests and our community close to our hearts. We will get through this challenging time together.♥️
