I will be taking a three day intensive Continuing education course this October, and am considering raising my prices after I have completed the course due to the rising costs of… well, everything! Plus, this year is my 10th year as a practicing, licensed massage therapist, and before I delve into my second decade of my practice, I think the cost of my services should begin to reflect my experience and expertise in my field. I have always strived to maintain an affordable practice for everyone, but I can’t continue to do what I do best for minimal cost. At the moment, I am still charging the same as I did 10 years ago when I was just starting out, and it’s no longer sustainable for the rising cost of living. I haven’t decided on the price points just yet, but I wanted to give all of my followers and my current clients a heads up before it happens. Stay tuned, and message me for any questions or concerns in the meantime.

As always, stay loose, drink lots of water in this heat, and I hope to hear from you all soon!

Love and light,
Rae Riendeau, LMT

Just checking in on a Sunday morning, I hope you’re all enjoying this gorgeous weather we’re having! I’m a little busy this week, but I’ve heard a few of my friends complain about hurting themselves by being super active and working too hard this summer.

Please don’t be too shy to reach out for some relief from pain, I really want to help you feel better and get more mobile so you’re able to either work harder or play as much as you want to! It’s worth it to take care of yourself by coming to see me, I promise!

I do deep tissue that is not painful, only helpful, and will help restore mobility you may have thought you’d never get back. Do you want to be able to get your shoes on without the assistance of a shoe horn, or get back to the gym without being in extreme pain? All it takes is a session or two with me, and you can gain flexibility, the ability to move like when you were 18, and finally feeling comfortable in your own body again like you might have given up on. Sleep in a deep slumber because you’re not fighting pain when trying to sleep anymore. Massage helps increase blood flow, so whatever you’re doing to better yourself and your body, massage can only help boost your results.

I believe in your ability to rest in comfort with relaxed muscles, and I believe I can help you get that feeling back, or feel more relaxed than you’ve ever felt before. I’m a small business owner and I’m the only employee, but I am skilled and knowledgeable and very professional in my craft. Give me an hour (or 90 minutes or 2 hours) for way less than you would pay at a big spa, and I will give you physical results.

I have kept my prices the same for 8 years and I started my business in Portland, Oregon. I moved here because I saw a need in this valley for licensed and skilled professionals to help the community at an affordable price, and that has always been my goal; to help the community and remain affordable.

Lately, the economy has made me reconsider my prices, because… well, everything is increasing in price, including utilities and cost of living in general. I refuse to increase my prices for something I love so much that helps so many people, so I just took on another job. I work out of my home simply to cut costs since Covid. It has worked out so far, and I love being able to keep my prices for healing others to a minimum. I charge $75 per hour, $115/90 minute, and $150 for a 2 hour massage.

I occasionally do chair massage for local businesses on the Idaho side, and I charge based on location and driving distance, as well as hourly. If you’d like to schedule a chair massage as a business owner to do “employee appreciation”, I charge $90/hr plus a fee for gas depending on location. Within the LC Valley it’s only a $15 charge on top of the hourly wage. Any further and it is $15/half hour of drive time. Due to gas prices increasing exponentially I have had to increase my rate for corporate chair massage, but my hourly rate for in my home office massage will remain the same as it’s been for 8 out of my ten years being licensed, regardless of the amount of continuing education I’ve received along the way, or the amount of new skills I’ve developed. My creed remains the same; I am only in this industry because I have a skill that genuinely helps the people I work on, and my skill produces real results and healing for the receivers of my massages.

If you’ve read this far, I give you serious kudos for being a real reader, or you just want to know what my business is really about, but I already know if you’ve read this you have patience and a real drive to learn more and possibly have a desperation to feel better at the hands of a real professional. If you have that much interest, I know I can help. I will always give 110% effort every time to make sure you feel better before you get up off the table, and your concerns and pains will be attended to.

Thank you for reading my “essay”, I hope you send me a message or give me a call at (971)371-6172. If it’s a text or voicemail, please include your name and the type of massage you’re interested in; deep tissue/therapeutic, simple focus work (if you have something that’s causing pain that limits regular everyday function, I will work on that until the pain is resolved and is no longer causing pain, usually an hour if it’s one or two spots, 90 minutes to 2 hours if it’s 3 or more problem areas that are limiting mobility.) I always get back to people within the day if not right away.

Regardless of your woes, whether they are emotional, like stress, or strictly physical, everyone could use a good massage. I promise I will ease your pains from any cause in 2 hours or less!*

*I reserve the right as a licensed, professional massage therapist to decline services if, after reviewing an intake form or receiving verbal intake before your massage, I decide in my professional and experienced opinion, that you require a diagnosis or an exam by another medical professional such as a physician or a surgeon before I am able to perform a safe massage for the client without putting their health or well-being at risk of further injury or illness of any kind. I also do not presume that I will automatically fix any systemic or recurring issue or chronic injury, especially not in the first session alone. Many recurring issues require subsequent sessions following the first one, depending on how often the cause of pain occurs and whether or not it’s easily resolved. Again, please help me spread this post all around Facebook and All About Massage.

I can’t wait to get your call! If I don’t make it to the phone in time, please leave a voicemail or shoot me a text anytime. My average return email…

I just had a couple appointments open up this week at the last minute. Message me to book a massage this summer. The more you’re out fishing, boating, golfing, hiking, camping, etc., the more your muscles will need attention! Make sure you’re hydrating out there and come get a massage often!

Do you need a massage? Maybe just a body tune-up before your outdoor summer adventures? I’m taking new clients and have availability in my schedule. Monday thru Friday, 11 am-7 pm, (occasionally will do later times as long as session ends no later than 9 pm), and Saturdays 1 pm to 5 pm. Come see me for relief from all your aches and pains!
Call or text (971)371-6172 to set up your appointment.

Hello everyone! So I’ve been making some changes lately and I’d like to thank you all for your patience. I will be changing my hours of operation to almost solely evening hours, and I will be operating out of Dr. Susan Aubuchon’s office at Clearwater Chiropractic and Acupuncture in the Orchards. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work in a more clinical environment and be surrounded by health-minded individuals. Thank you to everyone who has followed me around Lewiston and who continues to support me in my practice. I appreciate you all so much!
