Yes, you read it right. After a lot of thought, a lot of tears, and a decision I never expected to have to make, I’ve decided to step away from the salon I’m in, and from nails for now. 🤍

This isn’t something I’m doing lightly. Walking away from something I’ve poured so much of my heart, time, love, and even money into is incredibly difficult. Financial instability and other business choices and hardships are outweighing what I want to do in life right now, so I have to put it on pause and take an alternate route to take care of myself and my family, and to endure that I can do this again one day soon. I’m so sad that this chapter is ending, especially because of the people who made it so special. But when one door closes, another will open eventually. And I trust God to lead me to the place I’m supposed to be. I truly feel this isn’t the end, this is only goodbye for now. And I will still be posting my own nails, and I do have plans to start a press on business under Cloud Nine Nails and will keep you posted on those details.

To every client who has trusted me with their nails, sat in my chair, shared pieces of your life with me, laughed with me, vented to me, and continued to support me — thank you. You have meant so much more to me than you probably realize. You made this job feel like so much more than a job.

Right now, I don’t have another salon lined up, so I don’t know exactly what the next chapter looks like yet. But I’m hopeful that I’ll find somewhere that feels right, and if I do, I’ll absolutely let you know. If you’d like to continue following me and supporting me wherever I end up, I would be so incredibly grateful. 🥹🤍

For those who would like to continue their nail journey at my mentor’s salon, I’m more than happy to get you connected with her as well.

I’m leaving with a very full heart and an even fuller appreciation for every single person who has been part of this journey. This may be goodbye to this chapter, but I truly hope it isn’t goodbye to you. 🖤
