Ok y'all ... so I know I not been very active here lately but that is definitely about to change. A recent BIG health scare with my husband has rekindled my passion to more natural options and has totally stomped what little trust I still had in the meds doctors may prescribe. So ...

What I may post on this page is absolutely NOT medical advice for anyone. I will simply be sharing our experiences and how we use Young Living oils and supplements as we try a more natural approach to some if the issues we face daily.

I know a lot of what he and I deal with can be controlled with diet and not eating so many sugary and overly processed foods. Being on some of the supplements and using the oils myself I can definitely vouch for the benefits without the side effects of pharmaceuticals.

Before this last scare, my husband had 12 prescribed meds. OMG ... even I didn't realize it was that many. The 13th recently prescribed med for a new diagnosis threw everything into a blender and he ended up in the hospital for nearly a week. I almost lost him!!

Everything I read about this last med is a red flag for conditions he already had to cause everything to go out of control. I struggle to find a reasonable cause for them to think it was ok to put him on this. Now out of the hospital he must continue a taper off period, still on this med for 3 more weeks, and he has 3 more prescriptions added to the list, bringing the current total to 16 meds he is on!!

I am, first if all, mad at myself for not doing more research before and just letting this go on. Second of all I am furious at the doctor that put him on this for being fully aware of his medical history and choosing to put him on this med in spite of all the red flags. Lastly, I am beyond livid at these pharmaceutical companies in how they control every dang thing and push all the benefits, bonuses and prescribing perks over the potential health hazards and risk peoples lives just to make a buck.

Did you know Young Living Vitality oils can be used in cooking just as you would use spices? See the charts below on how to convert the measurements for oils vs your regular spices.

I also use orange or lemon vitality with a pinch of sea salt in my water to give it a little flavor boost. The sea salt helps the oils to disperse through the water rather than just sit on top.

I am trying this diffuser recipe as I am getting some cleaning done. Smells great and I am definitely getting things done and don't feel as tired as I usually do.

Got this with my last ER order. New to me so I will post a review in the comments. I just opened it and it smells great! Putting it in the diffuser so hopefully I can get a good clean out done in my bedroom today.

I just hope it doesn't energize the cats into turning my bedroom into the Daytona 500 while I'm trying to clean ... 🤣🤣
