Proper aftercare is essential to maximize the longevity and quality of your spray tan. To ensure your tan remains flawless follow these tips:

1. **Wait Before Showering**: Wait the recommended time before your first shower after the spray tan session. This time can vary, but it's usually around 4-10 hours.

2. **Use Lukewarm Water**: When you do shower, use lukewarm water. Hot water can accelerate the fading process.

3. **Avoid Soap or Harsh Cleansers**: Use a sulfate-free, gentle body wash or cleanser. Avoid using soap, as it can strip away the tan. Native is a wonderful option. Ditch the Dove!

4. **Pat Dry**: After showering, pat your skin dry with a towel instead of rubbing. Rubbing can cause the tan to wear off unevenly.

5. **Moisturize Regularly**: Once your tan has developed, moisturize daily with a hydrating, oil-free moisturizer to maintain its longevity.

6. **Avoid Chlorine and Saltwater**: Chlorine and saltwater can fade your tan more quickly. If you swim, rinse off with fresh water and reapply moisturizer afterward.

7. **Skip Oily Products**: Avoid oil-based products, as they can break down the tan. This includes makeup, lotions, and body oils.

8. **Be Gentle with Exfoliation**: If you need to exfoliate, do so gently and after a few days. Use a mild exfoliant and avoid harsh scrubs.

9. **Wear Loose Clothing**: Opt for loose, dark clothing immediately after your spray tan to prevent rubbing and streaking.

10. **Protect from the Sun**: If you're out in the sun, use broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your tan from fading due to UV exposure.

1. **Exfoliate**: Gently exfoliate your skin a day before your spray tan to remove dead skin cells. This helps create a smooth canvas for an even tan.

2. **Shave or Wax**: If you need to shave or wax, do so 24-48 hours before your spray tan appointment. This gives your skin time to recover and ensures an even application.

3. **Avoid Moisturizers and Oils**: On the day of your spray tan, avoid applying moisturizers, oils, or perfumes. These can create a barrier that prevents the spray tan solution from adhering evenly.

4. **Skip Makeup, Lotion and Deodorant**: Avoid wearing makeup, deodorant, and other products that could interfere with the spray tan the day of your spray. These can react with the tanning solution and cause uneven coloration.

5. **Remove Jewelry**: Take off jewelry before your spray tan to prevent any discoloration.

6. **Wear Loose, Dark Clothing**: Opt for loose-fitting, dark-colored clothing to wear after your spray tan. This helps prevent the tanning solution from rubbing off on your clothes.

7. **Bring Loose Footwear**: Choose open-toed sandals or flip-flops to wear after your spray tan to avoid smudging the solution on your feet.

8. **Tie Up Your Hair**: If you have long hair, tie it up to avoid contact with the tanning solution.

9. **Plan Your Activities**: After your spray tan, avoid activities that could cause sweating, such as exercise or hot showers, for at least 8-12 hours to allow the tan to fully develop.

10. **Perfect time to Book**: Plan your spray tan 2-4 days before your event. This will give the spray tan enough time to develop to its full potential to achieve your perfect glow.

Hey everyone! 🫶🏼👋🏼 I thought it was about time I introduced myself!

I’m Tiffany, 27 (28 next month- July Cancer baby!♋️) born & raised in the beautiful Napa Valley, CA.

I’ve loved all things beauty for as long as I can remember. I was dressed in head to toe pink my whole childhood with those straight across bangs curled upwards and smothered in Paul Mitchell freeze & shine hairspray 😆 IYKYK.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for the last 10+ years! I’m a self taught makeup artist- I’ve done proms, weddings, events etc. My passion for this started early in highschool. A month after I graduated I started working in retail selling hair & skincare, loving all the product knowledge classes I could get my hands on. 3 years later I took a job with Clinique to further my experience. I was sent to hands on in person classes all surrounding the skin. From there I started working in San Francisco at a wholesale beauty distributor through L’Oreal. Selling high grade products to licensed professionals. After 4 years in SF, I decided 2 years ago to transfer locations to my second home, Sonoma County, Ca. The ever-changing beauty industry is my forever home.
