A few tips for getting that ribbon-y color that’ll grow out flawless and last 10 whole months:

✨Don’t over foil! What you leave out is just as important as what you put in

✨Sandwich your foils. Folding them too much might cause your lightener to go all over the place. Keep it clean, keep it cute.

✨Keep the lightener an inch or two off the scalp to prevent harsh lines as it grows out.

Don’t overcomplicate your application. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve just done too dang much trying to get it ✨perfect✨

This is absolutely the best thing I’ve received at a class, ever. I love their curling irons so I was super excited to try this bad boy.

Personally, I’d rather touch it up than throw it in a bun every single time it’s not freshly washed.

Here’s exactly what I use:
🖤 Dry Shampoo — K18 Airwash
🖤 Heat Protectant — Joico Heat Hero
🖤 Hair Oil — K18 Molecular Repair Oil
🖤 Texture spray or hairspray (optional but chef’s kiss if you want it to last)

Just pick up the pieces that fell flat and voilà! you’re good to go!
