✨ Your lash retention is about more than just aftercare. ✨

One of my biggest priorities will always be protecting the health of your natural lashes while giving you a beautiful, customized set. 🤍 But something that is also important to consider is that what is happening inside your body can sometimes affect how your lashes grow, shed, and ultimately how your extensions retain.

Certain medications, hormonal changes, thyroid conditions, birth control, acne treatments, antidepressants, blood pressure medications, weight-loss medications, supplements, and other health-related changes may influence your natural lash cycle, skin oil production, dryness, or shedding patterns. 🌿

This does not mean you cannot have lash extensions, and it definitely does not mean you should ever stop or change a medication for cosmetic reasons. Your health always comes first. 🫶🏼 It simply means that if you notice a sudden change in your retention, there may be more to consider than your lash routine alone.

If you have recently started, stopped, or changed a medication and notice a difference in your lashes, please feel comfortable mentioning it to me. We can adjust things such as your fill schedule, styling, weight, or aftercare to better support your natural lashes. ✨

Luxury lash services are not one-size-fits-all. I want to understand your lashes, your lifestyle, and what they need so we can keep them looking beautiful while maintaining their health. 🌹

And as always — never stop or adjust a prescribed medication because of your lashes. Your health is the priority, always. 🤍

This is such a beautiful example of what great retention + proper lash placement can look like at the two-week mark. 🤍

In the before photo, you can see she still has plenty of extensions left, but there are also some grown-out lashes and a few twisties — and this is exactly why staying consistent with your 2-week refills is so important! During your refill, I carefully remove those grown-outs and any lashes that are starting to twist or feel uncomfortable, then replace them so everything feels fresh, lightweight, and perfectly placed again. ✨

And the after… super full, clean, fluffy, and refreshed. 🤌🏼🌹

Healthy natural lashes, proper isolation, intentional placement, and consistent maintenance will always be my priority. Luxury lashes should look beautiful and feel comfortable. 🤍
