When I first started my business, my purpose was to prove to myself how I was capable of achieving my dreams and goals even if it feels impossible! Since becoming a mother a big part of my why changed, I do it to show my son that with dedication, passion, drive, and a dream, you can make big things happen and big impacts even in little ways! Though the time I spend building my business is a sacrifice, working for myself gives me the flexibility to have more family time and raise my son around hard working women and I wouldn’t change a thing! Becoming a mom and still keeping my business going has shown me so much resilience within myself and grown me so much as a person, women really are so impressive and amazing to me how much we are capable of doing!

The bond I create with moms through my work is so special to me, getting to treat people who carry the world and help them relax, letting them know they aren’t alone in their journey and deserve to take time for themselves is so important to me and what my business represents!

Hi, I am Kara! I’m a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Lash and Brow Artist, and Certified Face Reality Acne Expert! Also your new bestie and half therapist😉🤍

It’s been quite some time since I last did an intro post and so much has changed since then, I’ve became a mom and my business has grown as have I! I still love what I do and learning more about it all the time, I have truly found my passion while also being able to help others which greatly fulfills me!

Some fun facts about me:
-I’m 23 years old and a Virgo sun, Capricorn moon and Libra rising✨
-I’m the middle child of 2 sisters who I love very much and are the best aunties!
-I’m a mom to a 2 and half year old boy, Elias and a cat mom to 2 clingy cats, Ellie and Ashes!
-I listen to all types of music and I really mean it, my playlist can be everywhere!
-Outside of work I like to be outside, with family and friends, tattoos, thrifting travel somewhere new, or some self care for myself!🧘‍♀️
-I’m from a small town in Kentucky called Campbellsville and moved to Lexington to start school right after I graduated in 2020!
-I used to make “YouTube videos” on my mammy’s iPad and I also had a “beauty” instagram where I made video edits of lip products that I liked!🤣I liked makeup and a little hair stuff growing up but didn’t really become interested into skincare a lot until I started struggling with my own skin. I almost randomly went to dentistry school but then tried cosmetology which ultimately led me to only wanting to specialize in skin, lashes and brows and attended school at Katharos School of Aesthetics!
-I’m a detail oriented and perfectionist type of worker so I really enjoy the tedious parts of my job!
-I’ve been a lash artist for 5 years, an esthetician for 4 years and business owner for 3 and half years!
-I’m an extrovert and can make friends or conversation with most people however I do need my alone quiet time to recharge my energy!
