This client came to me with little to no natural brow hair, and very delicate skin. With powder brows, we’re not just adding color—we’re gently creating structure, balance, and a whole new frame for the face.

On delicate skin, the approach has to be even more thoughtful. Less trauma, strategic layering, and patience throughout the process make all the difference in how the skin heals and holds pigment.

And if you know, you know—healing is a journey. Brows will appear darker and more defined before they soften and settle into their final result. That temporary intensity is part of the process, not the outcome.

She asked for more fullness—and I’m so glad she did. At the initial session, we kept the shape close to how she normally filled them in with makeup, but this added fullness brings better balance and a more youthful look. The arch is more filled in, but the lift is still there—just softer and more natural ❤️

Scar tissue is one of my favorite things to work with because it always tells a story. It can also be one of the most challenging surfaces in permanent makeup. Scarred skin is often thicker, less predictable, and holds pigment differently, so it requires a careful approach, patience, and experience.

This client (you may recognize her from a previous post 😉) has significant scarring through the right brow. Results over scar tissue can take more than one session, and healing can vary, but with careful application it can often blend beautifully with the surrounding skin. The key is finding an experienced, knowledgeable artist—and trusting the process.

I stay the course with my scar clients. After the perfecting session, scar tissue may need an additional touch-up. I offer those at minimal cost, because even when life isn’t fair, I can be. ❤️
