It's time and you've waited patiently!! "Janis..." is finally here!! Let me know what you think of her. Beth
Greetings, fellow quilt admirers!! "Janis..." is almost finished. I have small details to complete, like the embellishments at her waist and in her right hand, and some kind of binding. So it will be a couple of weeks before she appears "in the fabric flesh." Thanks for hanging in there with me!!! See you soon!!! Beth 😀💓
Wow! Didn't realize I'd not written since Dec. 7th! I'm still working on "Janis, Crying" and she is coming along well. I've been working on embellishing her hair and it is almost finished. I'll be working on jacket embellishments next. Then I'll work on her jeans and she should be ready for binding or facing. We'll see when I get there. Thanks for hanging in there with me. I appreciate it!!
Hello folks, I am still working on "Janis, Crying" and have done one row of couching yarn on her hair. It looks great!! I'll be working on her all of December and am hoping to finish by New Year's. So, check back around then as I will post pictures of her when she is finished.

Hello there!! I haven't posted a quilt photo in a while. I'm working on "Janis, Crying" which should be finished in December and will post a photo then. I'm entering a quilt in Spring Paducah, so cross your fingers for me!!! I'm going to post a photo of some of the Christmas gifts that I made for friends this year. Just small wall hangings, but fun.
Alas, my Bernina 1260 has been out of order for a couple of weeks. Tommy Leitner will be here on Monday, the 19th, to fix it. I will be so relieved!! "Janis" is waiting and waiting for me to finish all the embellishments she needs. I will post pictures when she is finished. Right now, I am preparing "The Artist, The Poet, and The Quilter" to go to Spring Paducah, if accepted!! Cross your fingers for me!!!

Greetings!! I'm working on small projects as Christmas presents for my gathering group. I'm working on #5 of 6. They are coming along rather well. "Janis" is on hold right now as my Bernina is in need of some work and I can't afford it right now. She's clacking when she should be running smoothly!!! Will call Tommy soon as I can pay him so that I can get her running again and work on "Janis" again!! Will post pictures of the projects when #6 is finished!! Thanks for hanging in there with me. I'm in Cardio Rehab now and appreciate all that they are doing for me.
Hello there quilt enthusiasts. I haven't written lately because 1) I had a heart attack with 2 stents on August 17th, and 2) I had a vehicular accident with extreme sternal bruising the 6th of September and 3) I haven't been able to work on "Janis, Crying" since August 17th. I'm still resting from the sternal bruising and don't expect to be quilting until some time in October. I'll post then when I have something positive to post about!!! Thanks for hanging in there with me. Beth
