ASEA and RENU 28
Why I recommend that, because you care about your long- and short-term health, you must investigate REDOX SIGNALING, ASEA Cellular Health and RENU 28.
For the past 40 years I've studied, used and advocated for natural approaches to health that use our bodies' innate ability to heal themselves. I was using massage therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, meditation and herbal medicine in my 20's, well before these things became mainstream in the U.S.. Six years ago a wonderful new friend introduced me to ASEA redox signaling molecules, a new product bas

A BODYMIND RENAISSANCE, Part 8: 5 Years of Healing and a New Direction
There’s nothing like a health scare to focus one’s attention! In the past 5 years, I've had two joint replacements and a cancer diagnosis, subsequently had a hysterectomy followed by three radiation treatments, ultimately being declared cancer-free. Each time I've recommitted to the longer processes of healing, putting myself back together one decision and action at a time: one strength-building exercise, one walk in the neighborhood, one Feldenkrais or Bones for Life session, one self-massage, one meditation, one book or research study on the metabolic elements of cancer, one foray into understanding how to eat for weight loss (important for extending the life of titanium joints!), one breakfast, nutritional supplement and dinner at a time... I always envision how I can come out on the other side stronger than ever. And, with the most recent scare, I emerged determined to make my first encounter with cancer also my LAST. As a long-time holistic practitioner, I was, and am, committed to being the healthiest possible version of myself, and I have a lot of resources to draw on. Today, for the final service business of my long and varied career, I've decided it's time to re-enter the wellness field after several years largely spent coaching small businesses and community colleges on their marketing and development. I've loved every minute, and am still doing that work actively. However, as of today, I'm beginning my transition -- returning to my holistic roots: Feldenkrais, Bones for Life, therapeutic bodywork and meditation. So... please visit my new page, and WELCOME to Body Mind Toolbox: for Self-Care Clarity! I hope you'll visit often; I have a lot to tell you and a lot of questions to ask you! Thank you dear friends.

A BODYMIND RENAISSANCE, Part 7: Creating an Inhospitable Environment for Cancer
Finally, I was going home and I could put the *surgery and all that trepidation behind me. The cancer had been removed from my body; I had cleared the initial hurdle. I traveled to Cleveland for a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic, meeting with a respected elder doc who resembled a movie star, and subsequently agreed to three radiation treatments. (I may one day write about that experience but for now it’s a bit too personal for Facebook. Suffice it to say it was fascinating and, to keep myself calm, I ended up serenading the physicists and techs who were managing the R2D2-like radiation machine selectively frying my insides.) After all was complete, which was only a 3-week period -- I turned my attention full bore to SELF CARE. There’s nothing like a health scare to snap me into attention! It was time to begin the real process of healing, putting myself back together and envisioning how to make this not only my first, but also my LAST encounter with cancer. Since I’ve been a holistic health devotee for nearly 50 years (and a wellness practitioner for 30), fortunately, I know a lot about taking good care of myself. Now it was time to turn it all up a notch, to do what my cancer coach, the very lovely and profoundly informed Glenn Sabin, calls “creating an inhospitable environment for cancer.” . . . . . . . . . . . . .

16 months ago I was diagnosed with stage one endometrial cancer. In the coming weeks I learned so much about myself... how I react to bad news, how long it takes me to pick myself off the floor and get to work doing something about it, etc. I know SO many people have been through similar experiences, where your perspective shifts suddenly. I want to keep writing about this, because there's a lot to say... p.s. I appear to be cancer-free at present, thank you Jesus and all other available deities and cosmic influencers.

A BODYMIND RENAISSANCE, Part 6: My Surgeon was a Robot
Laparoscopic surgery is the bomb. In my 30’s I had a cyst removed and was in SO much pain I could barely stand or move for several weeks. The more recent surgery was performed by a ROBOT (under the guidance, of course, of my surgeon). This only required 5 tiny incisions; and I didn’t need pain relief for long at all. I healed quickly, could walk the same day to the bathroom unassisted! I only spent one night in the hospital… And I was 40 years older! 16 months later I have virtually no scars. I must admit my appreciation for modern medicine took a leap forward.

When I was 24 years old, I lived in Berkeley CA where I starting learning about dance and holistic health, receiving acupuncture, homeopathy, breath work, and advanced therapeutic bodywork such as Bioenergetics. I also explored several forms of meditation. I read books about immortality, books on “Creative Visualization” by Shakti Gawain, “Bioenergetics” by Alexander Lowen, and the iconic book by Dr. Joseph Murphy, the “Power of Your Subconscious Mind”. My commitment to a holistic view of healthcare has developed over 3 decades hence, but it started in Berkeley. So, of course, *when I learned I had cancer, my initial inclination was to think “what else can I do besides surgery and radiation?” I was much older by then, but my value system hadn’t changed much and I still believed, as I do today, that the Body can heal itself. In fact, there is no healing at all unless the Body heals itself, regardless of how much assistance it may derive from outside sources. In the final analysis, if our cells don’t have what it takes to become whole again, our Body just can’t make it. I was in a quandary, because I knew I’d been lucky to learn about cancer at Stage 1, and I didn’t want to blow it, but I also didn’t want to abandon everything I knew and believed because of fear. Many others have faced similar dilemnas…perhaps you?

16 months ago, the day after my birthday, I received an unwelcome piece of news during a doctor's exam... I was diagnosed with stage one endometrial cancer. Who wants to hear that mess? In the coming weeks I learned so much about myself... how I react to bad news, how long it takes me to pick myself off the floor and get to work doing something about it, etc. Doctor's appointments took center stage while life went on. I know SO many people have been through similar experiences, where your perspective shifts suddenly. I want to keep writing about this, because there's a lot to say... p.s. I appear to be cancer-free at present, thank you Jesus and everyone else.

Pretty fascinating! You know what they say.... Mice don't have a placebo effect! thanks ASEA friends for passing this along in my direction...
💥LOOKING FOR PROOF?💥
A FASCINATING study was done by the Human Performance Laboratory @ Appalachian State University, North Carolina Research Campus, Kannapolis, NC.
💦ASEA or placebo (same ingredients as ASEA beverage without undergoing the proprietary processing) was administered via gavage once per day for 1-week. The average body mass of all the mice at the start of the study determined the volume of ASEA used for the gavaging, but the volume did not exceed 0.3mL. Following the 1-week treatment period (7 days) mice were euthanized and tissues harvested for further analysis of outcome measures.
Mice from the endurance testing treatment groups were oriented to the treadmill in the following fashion: During the three day period preceding the maximal endurance test, mice were oriented (trained) to the treadmill for 15 min/day. Speeds for the training days were 10 m/min, 15 m/min, and 18 m/min respectively.
Then, on the final day of treatment mice underwent the maximal endurance capacity test on the treadmill (Table 1). For the treadmill orientation and endurance protocols, mice were run on a multi- lane rodent treadmill (Columbus Instruments, Columbus OH) equipped with a shock grid at the back. When the mouse could either no longer run (as assessed by sitting on the shock grid with all 4 paws off of the belt for more than 5 seconds), the mouse was removed from the shock grid immediately and placed back into the home cage. The mice were monitored for recovery for a period of at least 20 minutes following the orientation bouts. Mice were euthanized within 30 minutes of the final endurance test.
RESULTS:
🌀When adjusted to run time, the estimated rate of muscle glycogen depletion was different between ASEA Run and Placebo Run groups.
-🌀Skeletal muscle phosphorylated acetyl-CoA carboxylase (p-ACC) was significantly increased in ASEA Run compared to ASEA
🌀Sedentary (p=0.020) and Placebo Run groups (p=0.045). Fatty acyl CoA transport (CPT1), and beta-oxidation (beta-HAD) were not different between ASEA Run and Placebo Run groups.
🌀ASEA increased run time to exhaustion by 29% in mice, potentially through less inhibition of fatty acid oxidation via increased P-ACC, and muscle glycogen sparing (30%)
- The data support increased endurance capacity and altered substrate utilization in mice after one week of ASEA intake.

DID YOU KNOW that ASEA Redox Supplement was studied by the Hippocrates Health Institute? They conducted double-blind research for almost a year to see if people with similar health profiles and comparable diseases who were living on the Hippocrates program would find a different degree of benefit when one group was taking ASEA.
The Hippocrates Institute in West Palm Beach, Fl. is well-known for it's programs, which use nutrition, detoxification, stress management and life-style education as a means to improved health. People have been coming to it's lush 50-acre setting from all over the world for over 60 years.
DID YOU KNOW what they said about the results?
"We were pleased to find that there was clearly superior improvement of the immune system for those using this advanced product. There were also a number of verbal reports of how people felt more energy and stronger via the consumption of this powerful liquid. After immersing ourselves in both the science behind ASEA and the empirical evidence that has emerged we would strongly advise those in the conquest of disease to consider utilizing this important contribution to human health."
