Welcome Y'ALL from the official greeter 🪿 at Ain't she cute :) This silly goose was not in the original plan but felt inspired to add her after meeting local artist Ivette. Ivette makes many things but is known for custom porch goose hats, outfits and wigs. ADORABLE!!!
During the duration of the window painting, Ivette stopped by many times to pick up & drop off items between events. A few times we chatted and Id run an idea by her. She was always kind hearted and willing to lend an ear, often helping shine a light on where to go with the decisions at hand. Thank you, Ivette! This one's for you!🫶

Decisions, decisions.....when you love all the colors of the rainbow but must choose! Thank you Shannon for your wisdom and professional expertise. :) Ultimately we painted the word commuUnity with red, blue & a big gold horseshoe. Merging together the love of KY's two biggest sports teams with water under the bridge, the love of horses and interconnecting unity within the community bridging the gap❣️

Here's to new beginnings & stretching past comfort zones! Thanks to Merritt for believing in us and the support we received from other artists at Local Lex Market, we took on our first ever window painting. Originally the thought of such a large canvas was intimating and backed out. Thankfully Merritt asked again later, this time I'd grown some courage and partnered with a dear friend Shannon. Together this is what we finished on day one with a white base. Stay tuned to see it in full color!!! More photos to come..... :)
