Read entire post for a MAJOR update on the barbershop, but first an anecdote on community (because that’s what this has been about from the very beginning)!

It’s been about more than just a person’s name or ego.

It’s been about building relationships and excelling at customer service.

Community Barbershop has been about serving others to the best of our abilities both inside and outside of these walls, and it’s in this same spirit that we will continue to strive for the benefit of those around us …but for now …

All these reasons - and many more - are why, effective April 1st, due to a major life transition for the Kendig family, Caeden will take over as owner of Community Barbershop!

We couldn’t be more proud of the way he has always upheld the values of the shop and his growth over the past year and a half, and we couldn’t think of a better person more worthy to continue the legacy we’ve been building together.

Anthony will continue to cut hair in the shop until late May, but y’all be sure to come by during this time to see Anthony and congratulate Caeden.

We are so excited for what God has been doing and can’t wait for more stories about the impact the shop will have for years to come!

Good morning LH fam!

As of now the shop will be open today for appointments, however, please use your own discretion if you are still planning to come in today!

Just because it was a relatively easy commute for us doesn’t necessarily mean it will be for you, so use your best judgment and take your time on the roads!

If ice and snow continue to accumulate heavily or significantly more, we may cancel afternoon appointments so stay tuned!
