Fine-line tattoos are delicate, minimal, and beautiful - but they’re still tattoos. They heal, age, soften, and change with your skin over time.

There’s a lot more that goes into creating a long-lasting fine-line tattoo than simply making the lines as tiny and delicate as possible. Your placement, design, skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare all play a role in how your tattoo will look years from now.

And sometimes, the best thing an artist can do is tell you when a design needs to be adjusted. Making something slightly larger, simplifying details, or choosing a better placement isn’t changing your vision — it’s helping make sure your tattoo has the best chance of aging beautifully. 🫶🏼
